TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: 13/09/2026
Last Updated: 13/09/2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Luminary World website and your participation in services provided by Luminary World.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Luminary World website or engaging with any service provided by Luminary World, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please discontinue use of the website and relevant services.
2. Website and Services
The Luminary World website may be used to access information, content, features, and services made available by Luminary World.
These may include editorial features, story sharing, interviews, publications, recognition programmes, awards, and other services or opportunities introduced by Luminary World from time to time.
The availability and scope of any particular service may vary depending on the relevant service and the circumstances of the engagement.
3. Fees and Payment
Any applicable fees, payment terms, and deliverables will be communicated to and agreed with the client or participant before the relevant paid service begins.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the relevant paid service will begin after the applicable payment has been made or processed. Where the client and Luminary World have agreed to a specific payment schedule, the agreed payment arrangement will apply to that service.
For award or recognition programmes, any applicable nomination or entry fee covers the relevant nomination, processing, and evaluation process. Payment of this fee does not constitute payment for receiving an award. No separate mandatory fee will be required from a nominee solely for the purpose of granting or receiving the award.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Payments made for paid services are generally non-refundable once the service has been confirmed or work has commenced.
Nomination or entry fees paid for an award or recognition programme are non-refundable, including where the nominee is not selected for an award. This is because the applicable fee relates to the nomination, processing, and evaluation process rather than the outcome of that process.
However, where Luminary World is unable to provide the agreed service due to circumstances attributable to Luminary World, the service may be postponed, modified, suspended, or discontinued, and a refund may be provided depending on the circumstances of the case.
Where a refund is approved, the amount refunded may take into account any work already completed or reasonable expenses already incurred, where applicable. Luminary World may, however, provide a full refund at its discretion where appropriate.
Refund requests may require reasonable time to review and process. Where a refund is approved, the refund may take additional time to be processed depending on the payment method, payment provider, banking processes, and other relevant circumstances.
5. Service Processing and Publication Timeline
The expected processing and publication timeline for a particular service or feature will be communicated to the client before or during the relevant stage of the service.
Luminary World will make reasonable efforts to process and publish the relevant material within the communicated timeframe.
Timelines may vary where reasonably necessary due to editorial planning, evaluation requirements, production requirements, technical or operational matters, delays in receiving required information or materials, or delays in client or participant responses, reviews, approvals, or other cooperation required for the service.
6. Information and Material Provided by Clients and Participants
Clients, participants, contributors, nominees, and other users are responsible for providing information that is accurate, complete, and not knowingly misleading.
Where required, the person submitting information or material must have the necessary rights, authority, permissions, and consents to provide that information or material to Luminary World.
Luminary World may request additional information, photographs, interviews, supporting documents, professional details, company information, achievement details, or other relevant material where reasonably necessary for the preparation, review, evaluation, or publication of a feature, article, interview, award, recognition, or other service.
7. Review, Evaluation and Publication
Luminary World may review submitted material and may request additional information, clarification, or supporting material where reasonably necessary for editorial preparation, eligibility review, evaluation, or publication.
Luminary World may edit, proofread, format, refine, shorten, organise, or otherwise modify submitted material for grammar, readability, clarity, formatting, design, editorial consistency, or publication requirements, while making reasonable efforts to preserve the intended meaning.
Editorial editing does not mean that Luminary World independently verifies every statement, claim, achievement, qualification, or other information submitted by a participant or client, unless Luminary World specifically states that such information has been verified.
Award nominations will be assessed through the applicable evaluation process and against the relevant eligibility and selection criteria for the award category. Where a jury or other authorised evaluators are used, their assessment may form part of the applicable selection process. An award will be granted only where the nominee meets the applicable requirements and selection standard.
Luminary World may decline to publish or may remove material where reasonably necessary due to legal, ethical, safety, or other serious concerns.
Luminary World may also decline, modify, postpone, suspend, or discontinue a service or publication where reasonably necessary due to legal, ethical, editorial, technical, operational, or other substantial circumstances. Such decisions will be considered in the circumstances of the relevant matter and will not be made arbitrarily.
8. Accuracy and General Information
Luminary World aims to present website and editorial content responsibly and with reasonable attention to quality and accuracy.
However, website and editorial content may not always be complete, current, or free from errors.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, content provided on the website is for general informational, editorial, educational, or inspirational purposes and should not automatically be treated as legal, financial, medical, investment, employment, or other specialised professional advice.
Readers and users are responsible for exercising their own judgment before relying on information provided through the website.
Opinions expressed by contributors, clients, interviewees, authors, or other individuals may not necessarily represent the views of Luminary World.
9. Exposure, Recognition, Awards and Results
Luminary World’s features, publications, awards, recognition, certificates, badges, and promotional opportunities are intended to provide editorial exposure, recognition, and an opportunity to share an individual’s or organisation’s story, achievements, expertise, or journey with an audience.
Submission of an award nomination or payment of an applicable nomination or entry fee does not guarantee that the nominee will receive an award. Award decisions are based on the applicable evaluation process and selection criteria.
Participation in any such service does not guarantee any particular level of visibility, publicity, PR benefit, audience engagement, business growth, sales, customers, leads, employment opportunities, investment, search-engine performance, social-media reach, financial return, or other measurable outcome.
Any business, promotional, public-relations, or other use of published material by a client or participant, and any resulting outcome, is the responsibility of that client or participant.
10. Changes to Published Material
If a client or contributor identifies an error or requests a reasonable update to information previously published by Luminary World, they may contact us with the relevant details.
Requests for changes, additions, or removal will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the nature of the request, the age and status of the published material, applicable obligations, and reasonable editorial considerations.

Users must have the necessary rights, licences, permissions, and authority to submit photographs, videos, articles, logos, trademarks, documents, comments, testimonials, or other material.
Luminary World may moderate, restrict, edit, hide, decline to publish, or remove user-generated content where reasonably necessary.
Material that is inappropriate or unsuitable for inclusion in a feature or publication may not be added or published.
12. Content You Submit
By submitting content for publication or consideration, you grant Luminary World the permissions reasonably necessary to review, edit, format, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted content for the purpose for which it was submitted, subject to any specific agreement made with you.
For award nominations and recognition programmes, submitted information and supporting material may also be used for the applicable evaluation and selection process.
You remain responsible for ensuring that your submission does not violate the rights of any third party.
13. Intellectual Property and Copyright
Unless otherwise stated, original content published on the Luminary World website, including articles, editorial materials, original graphics, photographs, videos, and other creative materials, is owned by Luminary World or the respective rights holders and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws
